Arisaema lihengianum J.Murata & SGWu First of all, this is a ridiculous potato. What used to be at the botanical garden level has finally been distributed to the general public. This child is the same as the imported strain (it is growing for the time being). This species was published in a botanical research magazine by Dr. Okuda and Dr. Su-Gong Wu in 2003. It was a shock when I first learned about this potato. What a divine and beautiful thing this is! It's been a year since I started to want it, and I got it ... Well, this species belongs to Sect. Anomala, Fudebotennansho, and has rhizome and almost evergreen characteristics. hold. The distribution is from Guangxi Zhuang Autonomous Region of China to Na Hang, Vietnam (reported as a new production area in 2005), and it seems to grow naturally in the evergreen forest of limestone at an altitude of around 1000 m. It is characterized by filamentous long, splitting appendages, and it is said that the split part is a flower change. Cultivation is relatively easy at this stage, and it seems that only measures against low temperatures in winter and measures against heat in summer are sufficient. I got the impression that I like water, but depending on the soil and environment, overdoing it may not be possible. The roots move when new leaves unfold, so I think it's a good idea to cultivate them well. I get the impression that it is almost evergreen, so I think it's a lot easier because it only needs to maintain the temperature compared to the dormant species. Humidity does not seem to be necessary so much, and currently the humidity is about 30 to 50% in outdoor management, but there is no problem at all. As for the temperature, it can withstand up to single digits, so it is recommended to heat it to 5 degrees or more in winter and a target of around 10 degrees. New leaf development and flowering occur at the same time between December and February. Also, in Guangxi Zhuang Autonomous Region, the maximum temperature in summer is about 30 degrees Celsius, so I think it is more important to be careful about the heat of Japan. However, there are some that are relatively close to the climate of Japan, so it shouldn't be too nervous. However, we haven't reached the establishment of the cultivation method because it hasn't been long since it was introduced. I would like to report as soon as I find out something new.
